The darkness
let it surround.
Let it consume
let it confound.

Our sense of sanity
'til it ruins
our feelings of humanity.

Until we see
that what we are
isn’t what we really want to be.

When we realize
that what we are doing
is wrong.

That
we, the people,
are the destruction factor.

That it is too late
to destroy
what we did not mean
to create.

So sad
it is.
That we
didn’t stop this.

The slow destruction
of this earth.
The slow decline
of our moral.

Until we have become
what we thought
we were above.

What we call “animals”

Not thinking before we act.

Slowly,
but surely
sinking deeper and deeper
into the thought
that we were superior.

But aren’t we
truly,
the animals?

Just stop to think,
it will make sense to you.

You will see my reasoning,
see that it is true.
That we are the animals,
me and you.
